Seriously... seeing is believing! Well three of us (my friend, my bf & I) went to Tropicana City for dinner (nothing unusual happened here) ... After dinner we decided to go for a short shopping spree at Carrefour.
My bf is a huge fan of Julie's chocolate wafers.. he saw the promotion where it was cheap... and i mean real cheap! So... he took it in his arms and walked around till we had to pay up and leave. Once when we were at the cashier, with all the normal routines of scanning the products and keying in the amount and paying...
Something happened while we were watching the man doing his routine cashier work for our goods. There was a mistake in the bill where Julie's chocolate wafer cost RM10.88 (price at the receipt) instead of RM7.88 (promo price) . Its a huge difference!!
We just paid for it and headed to the customer service counter to clarify the matter. As soon as my bf went to clarify it, My bf even took a picture of the price and showed it to the staff at the counter. One of the staff actually said that the price is at the bottom of the huge figure, which it states the same as the huge digits! What was the matter with the staff??
The staff still insisted on arguing with my bf. To solve the matter, my bf had asked for a full refund to reduce the complications. And yes... we did get our refund... soo... people... when you go out for shopping, make sure that the price that is seen and paid for is the same!
Honestly I was really upset over the service that was given to us and really disappointed with it! How sad can that be? sigh.... so be careful when you get your groceries from any hyper and supermarket... You have been warned!
